Double LP!
Eat The Elephant marks the return of A Perfect Circle and is their first studio album in 15 years. Featuring the new singles “TalkTalk”, “The Doomed”, “Disillusioned” and “So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish”.
“Fourteen years after their last record together, Maynard James Keenan andBilly Howerdel of A Perfect Circle reunite for a record of bruised socialcriticism that continues the political streak started by 2004’s anti-war coversrecord, Emotive. Instead of attempting to recapture the orchestral alt-rock thatmade the band famous, Eat the Elephant opts for a pensive collection of songsdriven as much by Howerdel’s piano heroics as his facility with a guitar. Therecord also provides a cathartic outlet for Keenan’s more-direct-than-everfrustrations; whether targeted at feckless leaders (“TalkTalk”) or smartphoneaddicts (“Disillusioned”), his rage is righteous and powered by some of theprettiest pure singing of his entire catalog.” – Consequence Of Sound
