Complete Mozart Trios

This year, Maestro Barenboim teams up for the second time with his fellow musicians Kian Soltani (cello) and Michael Barenboim (violin). This is the highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed album Mozart’s Piano Quartetsr”Mozart wrote his trios to be played among friends… Our three musicians surely enjoy playing this and the other five trios Mozart composed for their instruments. They know each other well, have been making music together for a long time and have performed the six Mozart trios many times.  Now they are giving them to us as a gift, an invitation to join them in the Mozartian conversation” – (Rolando Villazón about the recording)r”…[an] impressive album… All six movements here are of a high standard. The finale of the Quartet No 1 is good enough to be included among Mozart’s most exhilarating confections.
