Younger Now, released in 2017, marks a bold and introspective chapter in Miley Cyrus’s ever-evolving career. Moving away from the rebellious pop anthems of her previous work, this album sees Miley embracing a more stripped-down, country-tinged sound, reflecting her roots and showcasing a more mature, reflective side of her artistry.
The album’s title track, “Younger Now,” serves as both a declaration of self-discovery and a nod to the past, while “Malibu,” the lead single, offers a heartfelt ode to love and serenity with its breezy, acoustic vibe.
This album is a departure from the provocative image Miley cultivated in earlier years, instead highlighting her growth as a songwriter and musician. Collaborating with longtime producer Oren Yoel, Miley brings a personal touch to each track, blending elements of pop, country, and rock. Younger Now is a testament to Miley’s ability to reinvent herself while staying true to who she is, making it an essential listen for fans who have followed her journey over the years. This vinyl edition captures the album’s warmth and authenticity, making it a standout addition to any collection.
